King of fruits MANGO is back in season. Just like last year, this tasty fruit inspired me to try out a few delicious recipes this year as well. Hence, I tried making two different flavours of Sorbet. For step by step recipe explained in a video, please go to my you tube channel FLAVOURS ON TABLE .

Everyone’s favorite mangoes are back in the season. And that inspires me to try out different recipes including mangoes. Like last year I tried to make mango kalakand, which was really delicious.
So this time I thought why not to give a try to mango sorbet. Sorbets are kind of ice-cream but are made without milk or any milk products. So it is easy to make and most importantly if you’re a health conscious person then its guilt-free too! You can include it in any kind of diet plan as well.

INGREDIENTS
Mango – 2 big
Lemon – ½
Ginger – ½ inch
Honey – 1tbsp
Cardamom – 1clove
Mint leaf – for garnishing
STEP BY STEP RECIPE
- First peel the mango.
- Cut it in cubes.
- Now freeze it like ice cubes for at least 6-8 hr. or overnight.
- Now divided these mangoes in two bowls.
- In the first one add ginger and lemon.
- And in the second one add crushed cardamom.
- Now grind both of them in a fine paste.
- Now again keep this mango paste in the freezer to set it like an ice-cream.
- After this scoop it out and serve it in a bowl and garnish it with a mint leaves.

TIPS AND TRICKS
When you grind these frozen mango cubes, remember not to keep them out for too long. It should not melt down to room temperature. Otherwise these mango cubes will release water, which is not good. Because at the end it will not hold the shape properly.
